Had a great experience with Tri-State from start to finish. I had collected a few quotes for a retractable awning, and while they weren't the lowest quote I received, I wound up going with them anyway due to their reputation online as well as the good feeling I had following the initial consultation. The person who came to my house to provide the quote really spent a good amount of time explaining all the options, different ways we could go about installing it, the logistics of getting the thing hoisted to the fourth floor deck where it was to be installed, and I came away from it feeling like this company really valued the customer and ensuring the job was done properly.

The installation was super smooth and a lot quicker than I had expected it to be, and they left no trace they had ever been there. Was also a pleasure dealing with their office manager. Overall, the entire experience was great and I don't really have any critiques. Tri-State Screens installed an oversized screen door that pulls across for a wide opening in our new screened in porch. Their team is efficient, professional and the communication was great. Wonderful experience in getting a vanishing screen for our back door! Kevin and Steven were pleasant, efficient and skilled. 5 stars to them BUT...

.....I have to change my initial 5 star review of the company..  I ordered new motorized screens for malfunction ones. Twice (TWICE) they scheduled and confirmed a date/time window and THEN DID NOT SHOW up...plenty of excuses when i called to find out why, but I was extremely unhappy that I called and confirmed  arrival window the morning of the scheduled install and they still didn't show (no phone call or text or anything, just didn't show).

Cody and the team at Tri-State screens were so professional and incredibly easy to work with. From the moment I reached out to them, to the installation, and finally the follow-up, communication and follow through were excellent.

The best part is that the product is beautiful. They installed an awning on our roof terrace, and the result is beyond what we imagined. It has elevated our roof patio.

Finally, they have old-school customer service. They call when it's necessary and were always direct and professional which I LOVE. The installation team came in and did their thing too. Whenever they had a question, they came down and asked. I appreciated that they didn't assume anything.

We have worked with Tri State Screens on several projects, and they consistently exceed our expectations. Their team is professional, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everything is done right.

Our first project involved adding manual roll-down shades to our outdoor patio for both shade and privacy, and we absolutely love them. With the shades fully lowered, the patio truly feels like an extension of our home.

Since then, we have also installed electric shades for our three-panel sliding door, additional shades in the living room, and most recently, blackout shades in the bedroom. The blackout shades are especially impressive — the side channels prevent light leakage completely, making for the perfect weekend sleep-in.
